The Refugee Therapy Centre currently has vacancies on its Board of Trustees and Management Committee.
We intend to appoint four new Members, and are looking for applicants with a background experience and knowledge of grass roots community development, and specific skills in relation to the specialist areas of each post below.
We welcome applications from people with refugee or other BME backgrounds.
We are specifically looking for:
Treasurer - To have oversight of the Centre’s financial status, and all financial matters arising from RTC Contracts, Grants, Strategic Planning, Development and Operational Plans.
Human Resources - To have oversight of and support for the recruitment, development, and management of the organisation’s paid and volunteer workforce.
Legal - To oversee legal matters associated with our obligations and responsibilities to contract providers, service users and Companies House
We seek individuals who are willing and able to provide hands-on support for our work, including through membership of sub-committees with remits to support specific elements of our work. If you have other expertise that may contribute to our work in addition to what is outlined above, we would be pleased to hear from you.
The overall time commitment is expected to be about six days a year. Board members are not paid, but reasonable out of pocket expenses will be met.
