All room bookings require a deposit of £100 which is charged against damage, loss of keys, over-running of booked time etc. This £100, payable one month in advance, will be returned at the end of the week following the hire arrangement providing there has been no problem.
All hire arrangements will require the completion of a booking form. You will need read and sign the terms and conditions associated with the hire, sign the booking form and return within two weeks. This will need to be returned with 50% of the booking fee. Receipt of payment confirms your booking. The remainder of the hire fee plus the £100 deposit are due one month prior to the date of the booking.
As we are a registered Charity and run as a therapy centre for refugees and asylum seekers we rely on our rental income to support our activities. Therefore we have a strict 'no refunds' policy in the event of cancellation. Once you have signed and returned your booking form and terms and conditions you will be liable for the full amount of the agreed rate.
RTC is keen to support other charities wherever possible, therefore, if you are a charity and do need to cancel we will re-open the date for new booking. Should the date be re-booked we will offer a refund.
Please note you will be expected to leave the room as you found it, therefore where extra cleaning is required the charge will be deducted from the deposit.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.
Meetings must finish at their booked time. A member of Refugee Therapy Centre will oversee the change over from meetings and the closing down, locking and alarm setting for the building. If hirers are not ready, the deposit cheque will be non-refundable. Please ensure that you leave at the agreed time to avoid unnecessary payments.
