The Foundation Course in
Intercultural Psychodynamic Approaces has been running sucessfully
for 9 years. The Course is evaluated internally and externally and
serves as a foundation for application on the qualifying
Postgraduate/Masters course.
The course runs on Friday afternoons from 1.00 - 6.00 p.m. from September - July. Each week includes a lecture, a seminar with student presentations, and an experiential discussion group. Over the year we cover such subjects as:
Some of the people teaching on the course are: Aida Alayarian, Micol Ascoli, Dilys Daw, Tirril Harris, Josephine Klein, Roland Littlewood, Marie-Jose Loncelle Burris, Lennox Thomas and Zahari Ngah.
The full fee for the year is £860. However, some concession may be available for asylum seekers and unemployed refugees with little or no income. The administration fee for applications is £50. Cleared payment is required before an application form is considered.

To apply, please download the Course Application Form and return it to the Refugee Therapy Centre by post together with a copy of your CV, a covering letter and application process fee.
Upon completion of the Foundation Course, students may apply to enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Intercultural Psychodynamic Counselling/MA in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
